Seeds of Impact

Seeds of Impact, a joint initiative of Beyond Capital and UNDP, showcases the sustainability journey of funds and businesses in Jordan. 

Seeds of Impact’ is the first report of its kind in Jordan and perhaps in the region. The report, the first in a series, showcases how funds and businesses in Jordan are starting to embrace impact and are embarking on the ‘impact journey’. By showcasing case studies of funds and companies that drive social and environmental impact while generating profits, we want to inspire others to join the ‘impact journey’.

‘Seeds of Impact’ is based on interviews conducted over the past five months, providing fund managers, ecosystem players and business leaders an opportunity to highlight how they see impact and how they are measuring their contributions. Many funds and businesses began their sustainability journey before the SDGs were launched in 2015 or contribute to the SDGs without explicitly referring to them. Few measure their impact consistently, use the data to inform their strategies and policies or with a view towards attracting impact-aligned capital.
