UN-Habitat: Strengthening social Stability and resilience of vulnerable population in Amman against flash floods

UN-Habitat Jordan has concluded the “Strengthening the Social Stability and Resilience of Vulnerable Jordanian Communities and Syrian Refugees in Amman Against Flash Floods” project, which was funded by the Government of Japan and was implemented in partnership with the Greater Amman Municipality. As shown in the following video, this project aimed strengthen the capacity of government and communities to better prepare for and manage flash flood risks in the city of Amman through a comprehensive and integrated response.
