WFP: Chef Paul Svensson on sustainable cooking and food waste reduction

In Jordan, average food waste is estimated at 93 kilograms per person per year, which is equivalent to approximately 955,000 tons of food. That's enough to feed about 1.5 million people. Together with the Embassy of Sweden in Jordan, WFP hosted chef Paul Svensson for a culinary workshop on sustainable cooking and food waste reduction, as part of the recently launched initiative by the Jordanian Ministry of Agriculture, in collaboration with WFP and FAO in Jordan.
